Job description
As a part of the growth at ACS International Schools, the Marketing team are seeking a Brand Manager.
To lead ACS brand, to enhance the communication of the brand through digital and printed materials and manage the implementation and of key brand projects and act as brand guardian.
Brand Management
With the Communications & Customer Experience Manager
ensure the timely delivery - from creation through to execution - of branded organisation literature and materials that elicits a shift in consumer perception, required by the brand's strategy.
Management of third party agencies, copywriters and production companies to deliver excellent work on brand and on budget
Drive the execution of the brand strategy and engage all parts of the organisation through day to day collaborative cross functional working with the schools and other head office
departments, providing training and supporting presentations where required.
Build and manage a process to acquire a consistent and continuous funnel of stories to support the Brand narrative with which to create centrally branded materials.
With the Head of Marketing & Admissions & Communications Manager co-ordinate the rebranding of materials in line with current branding strategy for 2018/2019 this will involve rebrandingthe full suite of branded customer touchpoints
Develop and package core USPs and create with key materials e.g College counselling
Lead specific projects or initiatives through strong project management to deliver against assumptions
Approves use of branding on all organisation materials, physical and digital and acts as the day to day contact for internal functions and any external parties on use of the brand.
Provide brand guidance to new channels such as Alumni & Fund raising and partnerships, and CIM and develop new branding materials for their use as required.
Manage registration and protection of relevant trademarks and copyrights.
Guard and enforce the ACS brand, both internally and externally, taking up any issues that might damage ACS' brand image
Advise and manage the use of the brand through internal communications and channels such as the Intranet.
Acts as the voice of the brand in all facilities and interior changes and new builds.
Content Generation
Own and enhance the organisation's suite of primary non- campiagn physical collateral.
Ensure key organisation level content is on-brand and on-message for all target audiences.
Lead the creation of all new non-campaign related stills photography, videos, graphics, and animations to better showcase the ACS brand to key internal and external stakeholders and customers.
Budgets
Manage the brand collateral budgets at cost centre level and ensure effective prioritization of resources to achieve objectives.
Ensure value for money through effective procurement, and spend is within budget.
Working with Line Manager, undertake regular reviews throughout the year, reallocating funds if required behind agreed initiatives to achieve objectives.
Influencing Others
Champion a strong team culture, both within and across departments.
Develop strong relationships with schools and HH to ensure brand ethos and narrative is understood and communicated through all touchpoints.
Experience:
Educated to Degree level with proven track record in managing brand
Understanding of brand strategy, design and visual impact.
Experience in the creation of collateral and managing third parties
Experience in engaging internal teams in a brand message/ strategy
Experience of leading teams and working cross functionally on complex projects.
Good IT skills - Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages, email, social media, CMS
Previous brand Guardian/ controller experience nice to have.
Personal Qualities:
Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into compelling content and messages. Blends creative mindset with customer insights to powerfully engage with target audiences
Strong grasp of visual and design excellence
Able to lead and build strong working relationships both within and between teams
Sound decision making skills
Ability to lead projects through to successful completion

Good organisation skills
A 'can do' attitude, with an exacting eye for detail.
