Job description
We have a vacancy for a Recruitment Business Partner to join the HR team based at Head Office in Cobham. This role is suited to an experienced recruiter looking for their next exciting and challenging position within an international context.
This role will develop and maintain the strategies and plans to attract and retain staff of the highest standard and
coordinate and improve the recruitment of staff across ACS. The role will have one direct report and work closely with the wider HR team in providing
quality advice to the Leadership Team and local management teams on resourcing (i.e. recruitment, retention and talent) ensuring all resourcing solutions are viable and in line with the requirements of ACS.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Proven experience of recruitment, gained either as in-house recruiter or in a recruiting agency
Experience of working in recruitment ideally gained in a customer-facing, professional services or education environment.
Experience in advertising, researching, reviewing CVs and applications, interviewing and offer procedures.
Solid understanding/experience of the full 360 degree recruitment cycle including conducting competency based interviews
Familiarity with ATS
Must have good understanding of employment law.
Personal Qualities:
Strong relationships will need to be built with key stakeholders in the School, Business Support functions, and the wider HR team.
Identify and prioritise the key issues and work collaboratively with Line Managers.
Sound recruitment and HR Knowledge, skills and experience.
Effective planning, organisational and project management skills coupled with a systematic approach to work.
Able to see the 'bigger picture' but also be capable of high accuracy and detail in tracking, systems and planning.
Able to work autonomously when required and also collaboratively across ACS and with the wider HR team.
Credible, professional, quickly able to demonstrate value and possess excellent customer service skills.
Must have strong interpersonal skills combined with the ability to influence and manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
Be able to demonstrate effective facilitation, communication skills and be an effective change agent.
Able to manage and prioritise a busy workload
Able to demonstrate a genuine passion for recruitment
Self motivated, driven and confident
Team player with excellent customer service skills and helpful approach.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Computer literate with ability to use windows packages (advanced Excel skills) and HR database systems.
Proactive approach in identifying improvements and efficiencies in HR processes and paperwork with the skills to follow through on agreed changes.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
The role will require flexibility, working 35 hours a week on a full time basis. The job holder will predominantly be based in Head Office, Cobham with frequent travel to other ACS campuses and recruitment events around the globe.
