We are looking for an experienced Catering Admin Assistant to join the catering team. Based at ACS Cobham, the main focus of this position, is to be responsible for all Administrative, clerical and back of house duties in the Catering Department for all three ACS International Schools.
We require:
To be responsible for organising and running 'Orientation day' at all three Schools at the beginning of the Academic year, which includes monitoring the Catering Table to register all new Students on the Catering Till system and to take biometric finger prints, distributing menus and be on hand to answer any questions that new students or parents may have regarding anything that is Catering related.
To run the 'day end report' after service, this will be sent to the accounts department and Catering Managers. To prepare the end of the month sales accounts to be used in the creating of the monthly Gross Profit account.
To be responsible for ordering stationery, labels for grab and go, as well as writing and liaising with the outsourced printer for all menus in the three Schools.
To be responsible for ensuring that all three Schools are up to date with safety cloud or any training that the Managers need to give to staff.
Must have experience in clerical work as well as an understanding of the Catering Industry.
Education & Experience-NVQ Level 2 - or equivalent is essential.
Knowledge of using a variety of software packages including, Microsoft word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access.
To have knowledge in creating spreadsheets, keeping records and maintaining presentations.
Outgoing friendly personality essential, must be a team player with a 'can do' attitude.
Good organisational skills and a confident approach to management required.
Effective communication with all levels of colleagues a must.
Must also be available to cover possible sickness of staff members.
Attendance of periodic training seminars.
Based at Cobham, with travel to other campuses required on a weekly basis. Working Monday to Friday form 6:30am- 2:30pm (40 hour per week) on a 42 week contract.
