We are looking for an experienced Chef to join the catering team in Cobham during the weekend with occasional travel to other campuses.
In this pivotal role your main responsibility will be to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold quality nutritious food to students from 13-18 years old. The successful candidate will be reasonable for the operation of all catering needs for the boarding house, preparation for Monday and any functions taking place. Assisting in the preparation of all meals and extra catering services, creating fresh, nutritionally balanced Food in a safe environment. Having a keen commercial awareness is a must, as there are strict budgetary targets to adhere to.
The successful candidates will have a at least 2 years' experience within a similar catering environment; fine dining and hospitality experience would be preferable.
Education & Experience:
We are encouraging applications from outgoing, friendly team players with a 'can do' attitude. Good organisational skills and a confident approach to team leading and motivation. Effective communication with all levels of colleagues is a must.
This is a permanent, term time role Saturdays and Sundays (20 hours) and occasional Bank Holidays.
